Counterargument of the Apostle Paul
(Colossians 1:15-23)
Ⅰ. Key Idea
The disclosure of Today’s body of the text is on the problem of the Colossians church. That is “syncretism”. The “syncretism” means to mix the teachings of the faith of the Christianity together with the ideas of other philosophy or religion. Bogus teachers in the Colossians church
insisted that the special knowledge is necessary for the Colossians to be saved?A Also?Athey even denied that Jesus is God. On the contrary?A Apostle Paul insisted that Jesus is God?A and also Jesus’s sacrificial death on the cross is already enough for the salvation of everybody.
