Because They Don’t Know Yet
The Feet of Those Who Bring the Gospel are Beautiful
Romans 10:13-15
I. Key Idea
God is the same yesterday?A today and forever. In the Old Testament time?A God spoke through men and He did His works. In the New Testament time?A God’s words were spoken by Jesus and the works of mission have been done in the world by the disciples?A based on the eternal truth that everyone who calls the name of the Lord will be saved. Are you saved? Do you live a life as a saved person? Let us hear the truth of salvation once again today.
The body of the sermon:
1) Everyone who calls the name of the Lord will be saved.
How can people hear without someone preaching to them? How can they meet Jesus without hearing about or seeing Him?
-Verse 17 says that faith comes from hearing the message?A and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
-What happed thirty years ago
2) You should share the word once you have believed and got saved.
How can they preach unless they are sent?
-Moses and Aaron were sent by God.
-Paul?A sent to Europe instead of Asia?A met Lydia. (The church of Philippi was born.)
The expensive Paulownia wood can be used to make a harp?A but can also be used to make just a pair of clogs. Which would you like to be?A if you were a Paulownia wood? Which does the Lord want you to be?
3) Let the feet of those who bring the gospel be beautiful.
When the Holy Spirit commands us to preach the gospel intensely?A He commands us to put on the armor of the gospel together with the whole word of God. I ask you once again. Are you an expensive harp type of person? Or is your life like a pair of lowly clogs?
I believe that the Lord loves and uses those who are like nothing. The Lord gives to those whom He sends the armor of the word and the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 6:14 urges us to stand firm and to put on the full armor of the Holy Spirit.
Conclusion:
Are you a vessel of God’s peace? How did we get saved? Do we?A who have become God’s people?A share Jesus joyfully? Let us believe that the feet of those who bring the gospel will shine beautifully. Hallelujah!
