Because They Don’t Know Yet
Jesus Healed a Blind Man
John 9:13-25
I.Key Idea
Today’s passage speaks about an incident that Jesus healed a man born blind at the Pool of Siloam. Through this incident?A Jesus declares that He is the One that can heal and renew not only physical eyes but also inner eyes. He declares that if anyone accepts Jesus his or her inner eyes are opened. Jesus describes Himself as a light. Through healing the eyes of this blind man?A Jesus declares that He is the One that can give the true light to the closed and disabled inner eyes and heal them?A so that those eyes can see things in the bright light. Our inner eyes are opened only after we go through despair in our human flesh. If we think that we are able?A our inner eyes cannot be opened. Jesus putting mud on the blind man’s eyes teaches us about this truth. Our inner eyes are opened through great despair and self-denial. Through confession that things we have been seeing are not true?A through self-denial and through denying human systems?A cultures and customs?A our eyes are opened toward the spiritual realms. Joseph and Daniel in the Bible experienced this marvelous truth. God could use these men according to His will?A after their inner eyes were opened so that they understood the nature of this world?A the vision for themselves and God’s will and purpose for this world. When we become like them?A we will be a wonderful bride who is well prepared for the Lord’s second coming in this end time.
II. Small Group Discussions
1. Let us talks about the deference between seeing through physical eyes and seeing through inner eyes. If you have any experience that the Lord led you to see things through the inner eyes?A please share it.
2. If there is any reason why our inner eyes have to be opened especially in our time?A what is it?
